I'm hoping to play Don't Rest Your Head for 2-6 players at Dice Dojo on Tuesday, March 16th, from 7pm - 10pm.

Some gaming experience necessary. Character creation will take place in the first ten minutes. Six players max.

This game will use the Don't Rest Your Head rules and the original Little Fears setting.

Little Fears is" The role-playing game of childhood terror. A world of bullies, curfews, tattle-tales, werewolves, vampires, and things much worse. The world of Closetland bursts at the seams with monsters and baddies lusting after the one thing that will sate their twisted hunger: Your Innocence. But you only have so long to fight. Because when you reach 13, the age of innocence is over. And you become just as blind as your parents. Lose your innocence too early... and you could suffer a much worse fate. The children are screaming in pain. And no adult can hear them. The only hope they have... is themselves.

Don’t Rest Your Head is a sleek, dangerous little game, where your players are all insomniac protagonists with superpowers, fighting — and using — exhaustion and madness to stay alive, and awake for just one more night, in a reality gone way wrong called the Mad City.

In this strange land between waking and sleep, you can wield strange and wondrous powers, but your talents make you a target. Push too hard and you’ll fall asleep. That’s when the Nightmares come to feed. Stray too far from reality and you go insane, eventually becoming one of Nightmares that hunt you. Fight for what you believe and remember who you are, but whatever you do, don’t rest your head.

    •  I had a lot of fun with DRYH. The setting from Little Fears was a good match for the rules, and Josh did a great job running the game. I thought everyone got into their characters really well, and everyone got their own moments in the spotlight where their characters got to be awesome. I'd definitely play again some time; especially to see how my character's experience would go on to affect him the next time he found himself on a similarly crazy adventure.
